We are currently searching for a Senior Visual Merchandiser to join the team.
We are looking for a creative Senior Visual Merchandiser to oversee and implement a Visual Merchandising and display strategy across the business, including Retail stores (full price and outlet), Wholesale POS (Global department stores and independents), Motorcycle, brand Showrooms, partnership executions, Head Office planning and customer events.
Our ideal candidate will be a highly creative, self-motivated, and hands-on Visual Merchandiser with previous experience of working in a customer focused retail environment. You must be able to demonstrate your flexibility to work across different locations and adapt to processes across different environments.
In addition to producing displays across all points of distribution, the role will support the Senior Art and Design Director in the production of 3D brand content; planning, workflow, management and logistics, with a view to deliver a compelling brand vision, drive traffic and increase sales revenue in-line the global business strategy.
We are looking for someone who will be responsible for:
- Defining and implementing a visual merchandising (VM) directive that aligns with the brands strategic goals across commercial and brand
- Working with the Senior Art and Design Director to design engaging seasonal brand displays throughout owned and wholesale environments ensuring a consistent and compelling brand message across all touch points
- Evolving the retail expression of the brand, working with the Senior Art and Design Director to deliver and implement exciting new concepts in window design and VM
- Project managing suppliers in the production of studio sets, props, VM tools, window displays, signage, interior fixtures, POS messaging, and special promotion displays
- Carrying out regular store updates and communicating floor-sets and VM standards for all stores to implement
- Working closely with Store Managers on store VM guidelines, floor update schedules and responding to commercial needs by store and region
- Frequently visiting stores (UK/EU) to check and improve on VM execution and general state of stores
- Updating DTC channels post weekly trade meetings to ensure VM displays remain agile and are aligned with ecommerce channels and sales data
- Directing Wholesale sales teams to deliver top level VM proposals during market season to engage current and new partners throughout the global network
- Using existing digital platforms to foster a VM community across the network which encourages the sharing of learnings, best practice and fresh ideas
- Anticipating the needs of our target customers using the customer profile strategy, sales data, customer profiling analytics and trend information to deliver relevant displays
- Controlling budgets for Store and Showroom VM, working with the Brand Director to agree on seasonal forecasts
- Setting up new vendor accounts and managing billing and vendor payments
- Managing the Junior Visual Merchandiser to ensure independents and wholesale accounts maintain our VM guidelines and proposing actions based on regional variances and individual account needs with support from the Brand team
- Working with our Wholesale Marketing Executive to ensure external partnership collaborations are executed to brand guidelines and support brand visibility
- Ensuring brand Showroom displays are merchandised according to the principals of the collection and POS materials are created pre-market to act as ‘sell-in’ tools for the season
- Updating Head Office displays to ensure the environment is both inspirational and captures the spirit of the brand
- Keeping up to date on emerging VM and retail design trends, proposing innovative ideas that incorporate both physical and digital solutions to enable a best-in-class customer experience
- Acting as an external-facing brand ambassador in alignment with the organisations culture, products, image, and target market
We are looking for someone who has:
- Strong experience in a similar position within a luxury or fast paced retail environment
- A track record for creating dynamic product displays
- A willingness to travel and be away from home for periods at a time
- Presentation skills and proficiency in presentation-building software such as Keynote or Google Slides
- Microsoft Office competence with good PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Adobe CS experience (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- 3D visual experience (Sketch-Up, CAD or similar)
